[China National Machine Tool Business Network Domestic News] Professor Zhang Hua is currently working on the National Science and Technology Support Program project “Development of Small and Medium-sized Machine Tool Remanufacturing Production Technology and Demonstration of Industrialization Application”. Through the use of technologies such as used parts and components, transmission systems, complete machine structure, reliability redesign, and machine tool component damage repair technologies, used and used CNC lathes, CNC grinding machines, and CNC wire-cutting machine tools are rejuvenated.

Prof. Zhang Hua is currently studying the topic of the National Science and Technology Support Program “Development of Production Technology for Remanufacturing of Small and Medium-sized Machine Tools and Demonstration of Industrialization Application”. Through the use of technologies such as used parts and components, transmission systems, complete machine structure, reliability redesign, and machine tool component damage repair techniques, machine tool performance is improved. Let it rejuvenate like a new machine.

Green manufacturing involves three areas: manufacturing issues, environmental protection issues, and resource optimization. Green manufacturing expands the product life cycle from Cradle to Grave to Cradle to Regeneration. It emphasizes that resource factors and environmental factors are considered concurrently and comprehensively at each stage of the product's entire life cycle, which embodies the characteristics of "manufacturing, large processes, and interdisciplinarity" of modern manufacturing science. Prof. Zhang Hua mainly studies the green planning and optimization of the company's production process, the optimization of the production system resources for green manufacturing, and the green evaluation of the life cycle of mechanical and electrical products.

Zhang Hua said that I have been engaged in green manufacturing for nearly 20 years, and I have been somewhat “devilish”. What to eat, what to use, and what to look for, often subconsciously wondering if these things are green manufacturing?

In 1995, Zhang Hua worked as a visiting scholar at Chongqing University. He often worked in the lab until late at night and was repeatedly “pushed out” of the lab by the goalkeeper. At that time, they also had to bear the pain of separation of their loved ones and left their own daughters who were only 7 years old. In the first two months of her life, every time she and her daughter were on the phone, both the mother and the daughter broke into tears. Once, when she came home, she accidentally saw the back of the chair in the house, and the door of the cabinet read "I want to be mother." The childish handwriting was known by her daughter. She said that I really wanted to give up everything and return to my daughter. However, I still insisted on the green manufacturing business that I just started.

In 1996, Zhang Hua declared that the "Green Manufacturing System Model Study" project was the first issue on green manufacturing in the country's approved national 863 plan. As the person in charge of the project, he completed more than 20 national-level projects, published more than 100 high-level academic papers, published 5 books, and received 3 provincial and ministerial awards. A number of technical research results have been industrialized and have achieved good economic benefits.

Wuhan University of Science and Technology attaches great importance to the direction of green manufacturing research. It has specifically established the "Green Manufacturing and Energy-saving and Emission Reduction Technology Research Center" and is the first group to build a green manufacturing research platform in China. Green manufacturing research has developed rapidly in our country. The “Ninth Five-Year Plan” period was included in the 863 Plan, and the number of issues approved by the country each year was numbered; the “10th Five-Year Plan” period was singled out as the research direction; the state allocates 10 million yuan of research funding each year; it was determined during the “Eleventh Five-Year Plan” period. As a special topic, the annual research budget is 500 million yuan.

In view of the large gap between the level of material consumption, energy consumption, and pollutant discharge in the production process of mechanical and electrical products in China, and industrial advanced countries, Zhang Hua has established a material flow, energy flow, environmental emission flow, capital flow, and information flow. A variety of multi-analysis models such as the production process cost, resource consumption status, and environmental impact status of the “five-stream” state were constructed, 24 kinds of basic manufacturing process resource environment attribute databases were constructed, and national standards, index quantization rules, and expert experience knowledge were designed. Knowledge base. The project results were applied to seven companies such as Wuhan Boiler Group Valve Co., Ltd. after January 2010. Accumulative savings of approximately 230 million yuan over the past three years have increased the level of green manufacturing of China's mechanical and electrical products and promoted the sustainable development of the manufacturing industry of mechanical and electrical products.

In recent years, Professor Zhang Hua has studied the “green manufacturing techniques and applications of typical mechanical parts and components” for the typical mechanical parts with a wide range of valves and gears. Manufacturing Process Green Characteristics Basic Data Deficiency, High Energy Consumption in Manufacturing Processes Cutting Fluid Discharge Serious, process planning does not coordinate green manufacturing issues such as resource and environment, manufacturing cost and multi-objective characteristics, development of multi-level and multi-dimensional mechanical manufacturing process resources, environmental attribute quantitative assessment technology, multi-objective coordination and optimization of green manufacturing process planning technology, and less cutting fluid and Energy-saving green manufacturing process and equipment, solving the basic characteristics of the green production of the mechanical manufacturing process data and quantitative evaluation of indicators, manufacturing process resource consumption, environmental emissions and manufacturing costs, multi-objective coordination and optimization, manufacturing process, no cutting fluid and energy-saving operation problem. Through the implementation of this project, two demonstration workshops were established, "Green Manufacturing of Wuhan Boiler Group Valve Company" and "Green Manufacturing of Chongqing Machine Tool (Group) Co., Ltd.", which reduced the energy consumption of the enterprise's workshop by an average of 10% or more. The average increase of 10% or more, dust, cutting fluid emissions reduced by more than 60%, total cumulative profits in the past three years totaled 194 million yuan, saving a total of about 266 million yuan. The project won the second prize of scientific and technological progress in Hubei Province in 2014. The

Zhang Hua engaged in green manufacturing research from an academic conference. In 1995, she participated in the World Manufacturing Systems Engineering Conference. A foreign expert made a report on the theme of "The New Manufacturing Mode and Solving Problems" and gave her great inspiration. After consulting a large amount of data, she submitted a 10,000-word or so green manufacturing research guide to the High-tech Division of the Ministry of Science and Technology, explaining the research directions, promotion, and implementation plans. After many communications, the field of green manufacturing research has been recognized by the country. In the past 20 years, she has participated in the revision and improvement of the National Green Manufacturing Research Guide every year. Participating in the formulation of national standards for green manufacturing, six standards have been implemented in the country, becoming a "threshold" for the survival of enterprises, and also a "growability permit" for product production and entering the market.
